1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, model and specification, design requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of protective hood for firefighters.
This standard is applicable to the protective hood (hereinafter referred to as hood) worn by firefighters during firefighting and rescue.
This standard does not applicable to protective hood for firefighters that provides protection when handling hazardous chemical accident.
