——the indexes of dimensional change rate in water washing are modified (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the indexes of colour fastness to water are modified (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the indexes of colour fastness to soap are modified (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the indexes of colour fastness to perspiration are modified (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the indexes of colour fastness to rubbing are modified (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the indexes of colour fastness to soap and to rubbing at printing and non-printing parts are combined (see Sub-clause 4.3.1);
——the requirements for surface defects are modified (see Sub-clause 4.4.2);
——the requirements for sewing are modified (see Sub-clause 4.4.6);
——the test methods for fiber content are modified (see Sub-clause 5.2.2);
——the requirements for air permeability are modified (see Sub-clause 5.2.8);
——the judgment rules are changed (see Clause 7);
——the instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of the products are modified (see Sub-clauses 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, Sub-clause 7.2 of Edition 2012).
This standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee on Knitwear of National Technical Committee on Textiles of the Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 209/SC 6).
The previous edition of this standard is as follows:
——FZ/T 73022-2012.
Knitted thermal underwear
1 Scope
This standard specifies the product sizing, requirements, test methods, sampling rules, judgment rules, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of knitted thermal underwear.
This standard is applicable to quality identification for thermal underwear products made of knitted fabrics with an insulation rate of 30% or above.
This standard is not applicable to flocculent thermal underwear products.

3 Product specification
The product sizing of knitted thermal underwear shall comply with GB/T 6411, and the sizing beyond the standard range may be increased or decreased in sequence according to the grading principles specified in the standard.
4 Requirements
4.1 Specific requirements
The requirements are specified in two aspects, i.e. inherent quality and appearance quality. The inherent quality includes indexes such as bursting strength, fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, insulation rate, air permeability, pilling, dimensional change rate in water washing, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to soap, colour fastness to perspiration, colour fastness to rubbing. The appearance quality includes the indexes such as surface defect, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference at symmetric parts and sewing requirements.
4.2 Grading requirements
4.2.1 The products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products in terms of the quality grade.
4.2.2 For inherent quality, the products are graded by batch; and for appearance quality, they are graded by piece. The grade, which is lower in the two quality grading results, prevails.
4.2.3 For all inherent quality indexes, the lowest test result is regarded as the grading basis for this batch of products.
4.2.4 Where appearance quality problems with different product grades are found on the same product, the product shall be graded according to the lowest quality grade. For one product, no more than two limit surface defects of the same grade are allowed to exist; otherwise, this product shall be degraded by one grade.
