1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the angle of spirality in knitted wool garments after immersion and is also applicable to the determination of dry specimen.
This standard is applicable to combed and carded plain knitted wool garments.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

Angle of spirality
The included angle between the aslant upper wale of body and the vertical line of hem for plain knitted garments.
