l.0.1 This Regulation is formulated with a view to implement relevant requirements of "Technical Regulation for Hydraulic Design of Fossil Fuel Power Plants" (NGJ 5), hydraulic design shall be provided with complete and correct basic data, cooperate closely with hydrology, meteorology, geology, measurement, combine specific engineering conditions, collect data outlines in accordance with different design stages and fully master and correctly use the requirements of design basic data.
1.0.2 At each design stage, except that hydraulic design shall be provided with complete technical information, the following basic datum shall also be provided:
1.0.2.1 Criteria, stages and scopes of design task and engineering background information
Designed approval documents and design instructions issued by the Institute and Bureau at each stage
1.0.2.2 Basis characters and requirements of regions where plants are built, such as technical conditions, ecological balances and economic environments
1.0.2.3 Possible water supply systems and cooling methods for power plant.
1.0.2.4 Property, type and scale (at early stage and planning capacity)
1.0.2.5 Unit modes, single machine capacity and set number and manufacturer
1.0.2.6 Heating loads of power plant (annual change process) and operating modes of air-bleed set
1.0.2.7 Comprehensive plan progress of construction for power plant
1.0.3 This Regulation is applicable to the hydraulic design of engineering in newly-built or extended fossil fuel power plants with 50 MW-600 MW capacity of steam turbine generator units.
1.0.4 In addition to implementing the specification of this Regulation, the hydraulic designs in fossil fuel power plants shall also be in accordance with those specified in the current relevant national standards and professional standards.
