1 Scope
This standard specifies technical requirements, limit requirements and test methods for safety and maintenance guarantee of electric passenger cars with 5 seats or below which are sold and registered in Shanghai.
This standard is applicable to battery electric passenger cars driven by on-board power battery and plug-in hybrid passenger cars which are listed in national Vehicle Manufacturers and Products Announcement and Catalogue of Recommended Vehicle Types for Demonstration, Promotion and Application of Energy-efficient and New Energy Vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

remote monitoring system
operation safety monitoring system for new energy vehicle, which is composed of on-board information terminal and monitoring center
3.2
emergency information card
identification card used for indicating dangerous accident rescue parts, prompting potential rescue dangers and facilitating rescue
3.3
voltage class B
class B component or circuit with the nominal maximum working voltage greater than 30V a.c. but not greater than 660V a.c., or greater than 60V d.c. but not greater than 1000V d.c.
The power component or circuit of voltage class B system are also called high voltage circuit
3.4
State of Charge (SOC)
percentage ratio of residual capacity after battery discharge to the full charge capacity
3.5
Depth of discharge (DOD)
parameter representing the discharge state of battery, which is equal to the percentage ratio of actual discharge capacity to rated capacity
