1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for cold light sources.
This standard is applicable to the cold light source used as a supply unit in endoscopy and surgery, and other cold light sources may be selected for use according to applicability.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
light input surface of the optical fiber cable
effective light-passing surface at the connection of optical fiber cable and cold light source
3.2
reference plane
plane overlapped with the light input surface of the optical fiber cable after the cold light source is connected to the adaptive optical fiber cable
3.3
reference area
circular area with diameter D = 5 mm, which is located on the reference plane and centered on the center of the light input surface of the adaptive optical fiber cable
4 Requirements
4.1 Composition
The manufacturer shall give the composition of the cold light source in any feasible form, including the characteristics of the applicable bulb, and clarify whether it contains the light transmitting bundle.
The products provided by the manufacturer shall conform to the composition described.
4.2 Spectral property
4.2.1 Color rendering index
Except for those for special spectral purposes, the cold light sources applicable to optical observation scope shall have good color rendering property, and the color rendering index shall be no less than 90.
4.2.2 Correlated color temperature
Except for those for special spectral purposes, the correlated color temperature of cold light sources applicable for optical observation scopes shall be in the range of 3000 K~7000 K.
4.2.3 Radiant flux ratio of red, green and blue light
