This standard specifies the minimum technical requirements for the production and inspection of steel wire ropes for lift door operator.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 8706 apply.
4 Classification
4.1 The steel wire rope structure is classified into 6×7-WSC and 6×19-WSC.
4.2 The designation of steel wire ropes shall meet the requirements of GB/T 8706.
