1.0.1 This code stipulates the welding construction requirements of carbon steel and low alloy steel pipe weld in highly hydrogen sulfide natural gas pipeline transmission system in oil and gas industry.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the welding construction of the natural gas transmission pipeline in which the volume fraction of the H2S in natural gas is larger than or equal to 5%, this code does not replace other technical standards and specifications which are relevant to natural gas gathering and transmission and process pipeline welding of the purification facility.
1.0.3 Welding of gathering and transmission pipelines for highly hydrogen sulfide gas field shall not only meet those specified in this Code, but also comply with those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
