SN/T 0901-2015 Synthetics for import and export test method for interlacing degree and interlacing fastness of interlacing yarn
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for interlacing degree and interlacing fastness of interlacing yarn for import and export.
This standard is applicable to the testing of the degree of interlacing and fastness of interlacing of interlacing yarn (deformed interlacing yarn, multifilament interlacing yarn) for import and export.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
interlacing yarn
elastic filaments that are twisted by high-pressure air flow and interweave with each other to form periodic network knots
3.2
degree of interlacing
quantity of the non-loosened interlaced knots with certain fastness per meter of filament under specified load
3.3
fastness of interlacing
percentage of the degree of interlacing after the interlacing yarn is subjected to heavy load, which causes the interlaced knot to be damaged and the degree of interlacing to be degraded, to that before being subjected to heavy load
4 Testing principle
Interlacing yarn is periodic interlaced knots formed by interweaving filaments through high-pressure air flow. Slowly move the needle hook imposed with a specified load in a 1m filament, and the needle hook stops when coming across an interlaced knot, thus counting the quantity of interlaced knots in this way, which is the degree of interlacing (Method A). Impose specified load along the vertical direction of the filament and, after releasing it after a specified period, directly read the number of interlaced knots in the 1m filament by visual inspection, and that is the network degree (Method B). The fastness of interlacing is the percentage of the degree of interlacing after the interlacing yarn is subjected to heavy load, which causes the interlaced knot to be damaged and the degree of interlacing to be degraded, to that before being subjected to heavy load.
