1.1 This code is applicable to the engineering design of safety instrumented system in newly-constructed, expanded and reconstructed petrochemical unit (or plant). It may also be implemented by reference for the engineering design of storage and transport system, public works, auxiliary facilitiesetc.
1.2 The engineering design of safety instrumented system must meet the safety integrity level requirements of petrochemical unit (or plant)
