QJ 2609-1994 High-energy X-ray flaw detection methods for the chamber case of solid rocket motor
1 Scope and applicability
This standard specifies the apparatus and materials, image quality, protection, flaw detection methods, recording and reporting requirements for high-energy X-ray flaw detection of the chamber case of solid rocket motor (hereinafter referred to as “the chamber case”).
This standard is applicable to high-energy X-ray flaw detection of the shell, thermal insulation and liner of chamber case, grain bonding interfaces and grain. It is also applicable to high-energy X-ray flaw detection of nozzle, rear hood, front top hood and assembled motor.
