1 Scope



This standard specifies the terms and definitions, codes, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, specifications, packaging, transport and storage of upholstered furniture - foam mattress.



This standard is applicable to foam mattress with a thickness of 130mm or above and may be referred by the foam mattress with a thickness less than 130mm.

3 Terms, definitions and codes



3.1 Terms and definitions



For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in QB/T 1952.2-2011 and the followings apply.



3.1.1

foam mattress

mattress made by foaming natural latex, synthetic latex, polyurethane and other materials as core material and covered with fabric on the surface



3.1.2

ash content

non-flammable ingredient left after burning latex or polyurethane material in the foam mattress



3.1.3

slow rebound polyurethane foam plastics

special polyurethane foam plastics characterized by slow recovery, low rebound and high hysteresis loss
