1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to ensuring the construction quality of civil airport visual navaid engineering, promoting the improvement of engineering construction technical level and ensuring the safe operation of visual navaid and the flight safety.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of visual navaid engineering of newly-built, extended and rebuilt civil airport (including the civil part of civil and military airport); as for general aviation airport, implementation shall be carried out by making reference to this code.
1.0.3 This code includes the construction and acceptance of visual airfield lighting system and visual aids. The construction and acceptance of such items as civil work, high-and-low voltage distribution equipment, power transformer, diesel generator set, UPS power equipment, fire alarm and general cable line in visual airfield lighting system shall be implemented according to those specified in the current relevant code of the nation.
1.0.4 The equipment and facilities installed during engineering shall meet the requirements of the current technical standards of the nation and shall be provided with certification; the equipment shall have nameplate. Special equipment for civil aviation must meet the relevant provisions issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
1.0.5 The safety technique, environment and health during construction shall meet those specified in this code and the regulations in force specified in "Safety Code of Power Supply and Consumption for Installation Construction Engineering" (GB 50194-93), "Technical Code for Safety of Temporary Electrification on Construction Site" (JGJ 46-2005) and "Standard of Environment and Sanitation of Construction Site" (JGJ 146-2004). The safety measures for such works as aloft work and pavement marking paint shall meet the requirements of the current relevant provisions of the nation. As for main construction items or working procedures, safety technical measures shall be formulated in advance.
