Article 1: according to the relevant provisions of "Interim Regulation on Safety Monitoring of Boiler Pressure Vessel" promulgated by the State Council, this regulation is formulated with a view to adapt the development of the national economy, to intensify the safe operation of the liquefied gas road tanker (hereinafter referred to as "road tanker") and to guarantee to personal life and property safety.
Article 2: this Regulation is applicable to the steel road tankers used to transport the liquefied gas whose maximum working pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1MPa and design temperature is not higher than +50℃T
This Regulation is inapplicable to those road tankers whose tank shell is made of non-ferrous materials or non-metal materials.
For the purposes of this Regulation, the road tanker is referred to the single-vehicle road tanker in which the tank is fixed to the chassis and the semi-trailer road tanker. The tank can be either naked or insulated.
Article 3: not only the provisions of this Regulation but also the professional standards, drawing provisions and the truck/traffic-related administrative provisions must be compliant to for the design, manufacturing, use, transportation, inspection, repair and retrofit of the road tanker.
