This standard specifies the code & designation, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reinforced flexible graphite gaskets and reinforced flexible graphite sheets.
This standard is applicable to reinforced flexible graphite gaskets (hereinafter referred to as composite gasket) and reinforced flexible graphite sheets (hereinafter referred to as composite sheet).
