JB/T 10696.6-2007 Test methods for determining mechanical, physical and chemical properties of electric cables and wires - Part 6: Test for abrasion of oversheaths
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 10696 specifies the test apparatus, preparation of test piece, test procedure, and evaluation of test results for the test for abrasion of oversheaths.
This part is applicable to testing the abrasion resistance of plastic sheaths of cables with an outer diameter of 30 mm or more.
This part shall be used in combination with JB/T 10696.1.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of JB/T 10696. 3 Test apparatus
The abrasion test apparatus is shown in Figure 1. The radius of curvature of the angle iron abrading head shall not be less than 1 mm and not more than 2 mm, and its stroke shall not be less than 600 mm. The abrasion speed shall be (150 ~ 300) mm/s.
