1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection, marking, packaging and storage of polyfluortetraethylene gasket.
This standard is applicable to polyfluortetraethylene gasket.

3 Technical Requirements
3.1 Performance
3.1.1 The chemical compositions, physical and mechanical performances of polyfluortetraethylene gasket (hereinafter referred to as gasket) materials shall meet the requirements of the relevant material standard.
3.1.2 The test condition and index for compressibility and recovery of gasket shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.
3.1.3 The test condition and index for leakage rate of gasket shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 2.

3.2 Appearance
The surface and edge of gasket shall be flat, smooth and free from such defects as crack, lamination, pit, machinery scratch, exogenous impurity, which may affect application.
3.3 Limit deviation of dimension
3.3.1 The limit deviation of gasket dimension for flat pipe flange and raised-face pipe flange shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.
