1 General provisions



1.0.1 This standard is formulated to standardize the design of plate flange manholes with davit to horizontal cover, reduce repetitive design work, ensure product quality and improve comprehensive benefits.



1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design of steel plate flange manholes with davit to horizontal cover with a nominal pressure of PN6 in chemical, petrochemical plants and other similar plants.



1.0.3 In addition to this standard, the design of steel plate flange manholes with davit to horizontal cover shall also meet those specified in the relevant current national standards.
