1 Scope
1.0.1 This specification is applicable to the pipeline system of centrifugal pump and reciprocating pump, proposes tables for calculation of system characteristics of pumps and calculation of pumps, and introduces the measures to ensure the normal operation of pump process system and the method to determine the relative installation height of equipment.
1.0.2 The calculation of system characteristics of centrifugal pump is also applicable to rotor pump and vortex pump.
2 Pipeline system of pumps
2.0.1 Basic types of pipeline system of pumps
2.0.1.1 The pipeline system of pumps is divided into suction pipeline and discharge pipeline. Suction pipeline and discharge pipeline include pipeline with constant pipe diameter and flow, pipeline with variable diameter and constant flow, and branch pipeline (different pipe segments have different pipe diameter and flow).
2.0.1.2 Suction pipeline is divided into suction and perfusion. The accessories on the pipeline mainly include heat exchanger, strainer, valve, pipe fitting, buffer tank (for reciprocating pumps), etc.
2.0.1.3 The accessories of discharge pipeline mainly include heat exchanger, furnace, separator, control valve, flowmeter, restriction orifice, nozzle, pipe fitting, buffer tank (for reciprocating pump), etc.
2.0.1.4 The pipeline system of any pump is a combination of the above mentioned suction pipeline and discharge pipeline.
