1.1 Composition and brief description of piping layout design documents
1.1.1 Composition
The piping layout design documents mainly include:
1 Contents of the design document;
2 Design description;
3 Piping layout drawing;
4 Piping axonometric drawing and its index;
5 Pipe section table and its index.
1.1.2 Brief description
1 Contents of the design document;
Only the finished design documents to be sent to the construction site are listed, and the intermediate products in the design process are not listed in the contents.
2 Design description
Requirements are put forward for matters that are not expressed or difficult to be expressed clearly in the finished product documents, but need to be understood and executed by the owner or the construction unit, such as, design scope, partition of the device, installation requirements of equipment and piping, construction acceptance standards, composition of design documents, unified legend symbols and abbreviations and electrostatic grounding requirements.
3 Piping layout drawing
1) Piping routing diagram (preliminary edition for short)
It shall be completed at the foundation engineering design stage. It shall be drawn according to versions "A", "B", "C" and "D” of the PID of process system discipline [refer to HG 20557~20559-93 Design standard - Process system engineering for chemical plant, the same below] and versions "A", "B", "C" and "D" of equipment layout drawing of equipment layout discipline [refer to HG 20546-92 Design standard - Equipment layout for chemical plant, the same below], and its contents and depth are detailed in 1.2 of this clause.
2) Piping layout drawing
The research version (or detailed version 1, referred to as version E, the same below), design version (or detailed version 2, referred to as version F, the same below) and construction version (referred to as version G) of the piping layout drawing shall be completed in sequence in the detailed engineering design stage. They are drawn according to versions "E", "F" and "G" of the PID of process system discipline and versions "E", "F” and "G" of equipment layout drawing of equipment layout discipline, among which versions "E" and "F" are intermediate products and cannot be sent out. See Clause 2 of this standard for the provisions on contents and depth of version "E" (refer to Figure 2.0.1 Working procedure diagram of piping layout discipline at engineering design stage of HG/T 20549.3 Regulations for technical management of piping layout discipline for chemical plant for the working procedures of each version, the same below).
4 Piping axonometric drawing and its index;
1) The piping isometric drawing is a three-dimensional detail drawing showing the direction, connection relationship, piping components, relevant data and materials of a single pipeline, which is composed of drawing and material list.
2) The index of piping isometric drawing is compiled for convenient reference of axonometric drawing. The contents generally include piping No., axonometric drawing number, version, zone code, etc.
5 Pipe section table and its index
1) The pipe section table is a single pipeline material table compiled for pipelines that do not need an axonometric drawing according to regulations.
2) The function and contents of the index of pipe section table are similar to those of the index of axonometric drawing, except that there is no axonometric drawing number.
1.2 Provisions on the contents and depth of piping routing diagram
1.2.1 Usage
The piping routing diagram is an important document at the basic engineering design stage, and it is the basis for preliminary estimation of piping investment. This work is carried out to verify and modify the equipment layout, consider the width and layers of pipe rack, set the main platform, inspect the compliance with fire and explosion prevention specifications, inspect the feasibility of installation and maintenance scheme and prepare for the next stage of pipeline research. This drawing shall not be sent to the construction unit.
1.2.2 Supporting information
1 Versions "A", "B", “C” and "D” of piping and instrumentation diagram (PID);
2 Equipment data sheet;
3 Versions "A", "B", "C" and "D” of equipment layout drawing;
4 Piping data sheet and data sheet of special parts;
5 Relevant specifications.
1.2.3 Scale and drawing division
1 According to the factory scale, 1: 100 or an appropriate scale can be selected.
2 According to the arrangement of devices and the selected scale, drawings are made in several plans. The division of pipe rack drawing shall meet the requirements of Paragraph 5 of 1.2.7.
1.2.4 The pipe diameter range shall be included in the piping routing diagram.
1 It needs to draw all process piping, but low-pressure piping with nominal diameter (DN) less than 25mm or 1 inch and branch pipes for vent and drain or the like may not be drawn; however, all the control valve banks shall be represented by the method complying with the provisions of Paragraph 4 of 1.2.7.
2 Utility piping with nominal diameter (DN) greater than or equal to 50mm or 2 inches and all control valve banks shall be indicated.
3 All piping on the pipe rack shall be indicated [space shall be reserved according to the completeness of PID].
