3 General requirements
Both general-purpose and self-locking steel wire inserts are threaded bushings made of diamond-shaped cross-section steel wire via winding, but self-locking ones have a self-locking mechanism formed by one or more turns of polygon(s), and when they are screwed into a special threaded hole, a standard internal thread is formed.
3.1 The profile dimension of wire thread insert shall meet the requirements of GJB 119.4 and HB 6202.
3.2 The structural dimension of wire thread insert shall meet the requirements of GJB 119.1, GJB 119.2, HB 6200 and HB 6201.
