I. Grading adjustment content
"Grading Table for Recreation Facilities" (Annex 2)of "Regulation on Safety Technology Supervision of Recreation Facilities (Trail)" (GUOZHIJIANGUO [2003] No. 34) is adjusted as follows: the scope of original Grade A equipment is reduced, the upper grading limit parameter of original Grade B equipment is improved while the scope of original Grade C equipment is unchanged, see "Grading Table for Large Recreation Facilities" (Annex 1 ) for specific grading method.
This adjustment shall be implemented from the printing and publishing date of this letter.
II. Implementation of grading adjustment
(I) For newly-designed large recreation facilities, the design unit shall define the equipment grade in the design document according to the grading requirements in Annex 1 and the inspection body verifies it during design document appraisal or type test. The manufacturing unit shall mark the grade verified in the design document on equipment nameplate and the inspection body check it during the inspection.
(II) For large recreation facility with completed design document appraisal or type test which is reproduced by the manufacturing unit, the grade shall be marked onequipment nameplate according to the grading requirements in Annex 1 and verified by inspection body during the inspection.
(III) For in-service large recreation facility of which the grade is changed due to grading parameter adjustment, the original inspection body shall hand over the equipment inspection file data (copies of all previous inspection reports, etc.) to the inspection body determined according to new grade and timely inform the equipment using unit and use registration department of the handover condition in written form. After transacting the handover procedure, new inspection body is responsible for the implementation of periodical inspection.
