Introduction
At present, it is a global consensus to save energy, reduce emissions, reduce carbon, protect the environment and build a sustainable society. Countries are actively establishing regional energy management systems to promote the efficient and scientific use of energy. On this basis, IEC/TC57, TC13 and EN/TC294 have jointly established the DLMS/COSEM energy measurement system transmission protocol, in which the electrical energy part is completed by IEC62056 "Electrical Measurement Data Exchange DLMSCOSEM Components) and the non-electricity part is completed by EN13757 "Instrumentation Communication System". In order to establish a global unified and open interoperability, countries around the world have successively converted IEC62056 into their national standards. China has converted EC62056X-Y equivalent to GB/T17215.6XY
GB/T17215 "AC Electricity Measuring Equipment" is divided into several parts, GB/T17215.6 "Electricity Measuring Data Exchange DLMSCOSEM components" is intended to be composed of the following 25 parts.
Part 10 can measure the standardized frame. The purpose is to understand this series of standard structure operability information security and other related information.
Part 11:DLMS/COSEM communication configuration standard with template. The purpose is to establish the communication configuration standards followed by the template.
Part 31 based on the use of twisted-pair carrier signals for local area networks. The purpose is to use twisted-pair carrier signals for local metropolitan networks followed by the specifications.
Part 41:Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) with LINK+ protocol using WAN data exchange The purpose is to use the specifications followed for PSTN with LINK+ protocol. Part 42: Physical layer service processes for connection-oriented asynchronous data exchange. The purpose is to establish the physical layer service processes for asynchronous data exchange
Layer connectivity process for establishing asynchronous data exchange.
Part 46: Data path layer using HDLC protocol. The purpose is to follow the specifications of the data link layer using the HDLC asynchronous communication protocol set.
Part 47: DLMS/COSEM transport layer for IP-based networks. The purpose is to use the specifications followed by the DLMS/COSEM transport layer for IP networks.
Part 51:Application layer protocols. The purpose is to give the application layer for architecting the communication between the transport layer and the metering equipment as described in DL/T790.441.
Part 52 Communication Protocol Management Distribution Line Messaging Specification (DLMS) Server. The purpose is to give IEC62056-31 IEC62056-41 and IEC62056-51 protocol management DLMS server consistent and different from DL/T790.41 Part 53: DLMS/COSEM application layer. The purpose is to give the application layer structure, services and protocols for DLMS/COSEM clients and servers.
1 Scope
This document describes the exchange of information between ERP systems or third party systems such as metering systems in utility business applications. In particular, this specification covers the mapping between the information exchange messages of a CIM-based ERP or third-party system and a DLMS/COSEM-based metering system.
A typical metering system will contain a front-end system (HES) and some end devices such as (energy) meters and fee and negative control devices. There may be intermediate devices in the metering system, such as NNAPs (community network access points) and LNAPs (local network access points) as described in IEC62056-1-0 for energy metering systems. These intermediate devices are not in the scope of this technical specification.
The CIM's ReadingTypeEndDeviceControlType and EndDeviceEventType codes specified in IEC61968-9 are mapped to the OBIS (Object Identification System) codes specified in IEC62056-6-1.
Sometimes the structure of CIM model and COSEM model is different in this case it is not possible to provide a one-to-one mapping between OBIS codes and CIM data type codes. This mapping between CIMUML (Unified Modeling Language) object attributes and COSEM object attributes (see 4.3.4UC3) is implemented in this case.
The CIMEndDeviceControlType code specified in IEC61968-9 is mapped to the properties and methods of the COSEMIC (interface class) specified in IEC62056-6-2.
The CIM verbs and nouns specified in IEC61968-9 are mapped to the DLMS service requests and responses specified in IEC62056-5-3.
To illustrate the possible applications, only some of the most commonly used TCs (use cases) are given. Extensions may be considered in future versions.

3.1 Terminology and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in DL/T1080.100, IEC60050-300, IEC61968-9, IEC62056-5-3, EC62056-6-1 and IEC62056-6-2 are applicable to this document.
4 Reference environment
4.1 General Reference Architecture
Figure 1 illustrates a general architecture for the exchange of information between ERP and/or third party systems and metering front-end systems using CIM-based message sets of EC61968-9, where information is exchanged between metering front-end systems and end devices using the (DLMS/COSEM-based) IEC62056 data model and protocol.
5 Conversion of CIM to DLMS/COSEM
5.1 CIM message structure
The CIM-based system sends/receives messages in the form of verb nouns) as defined in IEC61968-9.
5.2 CIM verb mapping
The CIM verbs defined in IEC61968-9 are usually converted into the DLMS/COSEM services defined in IEC62056-5-3, as shown in Table 2. The mapping is implicitly many-to-many, depending on the context of the message exchange (see example 4.3.10UC9).
