1 Scope
This part of GB/T 6060 specifies the terms and definitions, methods of manufacture, surface characteristics, parameter value of surface roughness, evaluation of surface roughness, structure and dimension, lay of processing, and marking and packaging of roughness comparison specimens of spark-eroded, shot-blasted, grit-blasted, lapped, filed and polished surfaces.
This part is applicable to surface roughness comparison specimen of spark-eroded, shot-blasted, grit-blasted, lapped, filed and polished surfaces. The roughness comparison specimen (hereinafter referred to as "comparison specimen") is used to determine the surface roughness parameter of the measured piece by tactile and visual comparison with the surface of the measured piece having the same represented material and machining method.
