1 Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, storage and transportation for aluminum and aluminum alloy liquid nitrogen biological container (hereinafter referred to as container).
1.2 This standard is applicable to containers that store liquid nitrogen under atmospheric pressure and adopt high vacuum multilayer insulation with effective volume of 1L~175L and calibre of 30mm~216mm.
1.3 This standard is not applicable to the following containers:
——storing liquid nitrogen under pressure;
——storing liquid oxygen and other low-temperature liquid.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
interspace
enclosed space between the liner and enclosure of container
3.2
high vacuum multilayer insulation
insulation mode formed by pumping high vacuum, with multilayer of thermal radiation shields separated by heat insulating material arranged in the space of insulated layer
3.3
nominal volume
volume specified by container model
3.4
effective volume
the maximum permissible volume of liquid in liner under service state
3.5
calibre
inside diameter of neck tube
3.6
static liquid nitrogen holding time
number of days taken for liquid nitrogen in the container to be completely evaporated under static arrangement and standard condition (atmospheric pressure 101.325 kPa and environment temperature 20℃) when the liquid nitrogen is filled in, prechilled and reaches heat balance with 100% filling rate
3.7
leakage of vacuum interspace
gas volume that leaks into the vacuum interspace in unit time
