1 General provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to standardizing the design of plant information system in petrochemical engineering and promoting the advanced technology, safety, reliability, economic rationality, energy conservation and environmental protection of the plant information system.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of constructed, renovated and extended plant information system in petrochemical engineering.
1.0.3 The design of plant information system in petrochemical engineering shall follow the principle that the short-term construction scale is consistent with the long-term development plan.
1.0.4 The design of plant information system in petrochemical engineering shall not only meet the requirements of this code, but also comply with relevant current national standards.
2 Terms and abbreviations
2.1 Terms
2.1.1 material
abbreviation of material goods, including production goods and living goods. Materials required in the enterprise manufacturing process mainly refer to raw materials, auxiliary materials, fuels, power, accessories and tools, etc.

platform based on the demands of end customers, which manages the information resources of relevant enterprises providing a common product or service using software products based on Internet technology, thus optimizing the business process of the whole channel, i.e., platform for enterprises to optimize the business process of the whole channel

topic-oriented, integrated, relatively stable, and historical heterogeneous data sets that describe the plant and its components, such as related data, files and logical and physical models, to realize the management of the plant digital model

3 System design
3.1 General requirement
3.1.1 The design of plant information system shall follow the principles of safety, reliability, economy, practicality, openness, extensibility, advanced technology, integration and optimization, and shall meet the following requirements:
1 Modular and standardized system structure shall be adopted to support flexible configuration, function extensibility and performance improvement as well as sustainable business process reorganization.
2 The business requirements shall be met, and attention shall be paid to practical results and reasonable investment.
3 Commercialized mature products at home and abroad with successful application cases in the industry and open commercialized systems and integration platforms shall be adopted.
3.1.2 The plant information system shall be regarded as one of the main contents of enterprise or plant planning design and engineering design, and shall be coordinated with the design of specialties such as process, instrument, and telecommunications.
3.1.3 The plant information system shall be planned comprehensively and implemented by steps.
3.1.4 The feasibility study, overall design, basic design and detailed design stages of plant information system design shall include the following contents:
1 Pre-feasibility study and feasibility study stage. Prepare a report to determine the overall objective, basic composition and basic functions; put forward investment estimation and benefit analysis conditions; complete the planning design of the system to provide the basis for decision-making.
2 Overall design stage. Prepare the overall design documents to determine the design scope, principles and standards; determine the system objectives, overall architecture, main functions and performance requirements; determine the operation and maintenance mode, organization, position and quota; put forward the preliminary budget estimate conditions; complete the overall scheme design of the system.
3 Basic design stage. Prepare basic design documents to determine design basis, standards and specifications; further determine the system objectives and overall architecture; determine the requirements such as logical structure, function, performance, protocol and interface specification and type selection principles of each system and its components (subsystems, equipment, etc.); determine the selection principle, main performance and environmental requirements of equipment and materials; determine the interface and integration method between systems; determine the organization and staffing; put forward the budget estimate conditions; complete the basic scheme design of the system and its subsystems.
