1 General Principles
1.0.1 This Standard was formulated with a view to evaluating the sound insulation performance of buildings and building elements and reasonably determining the levels of sound insulation performance.
1.0.2 This Standard is applicable to the single-number evaluation and performance grading of air-borne sound insulation and impact sound insulation of buildings and building elements.
1.0.3 For the evaluation carried out according to the air-borne sound insulation and impact sound insulation of buildings and building elements of this Standard, the measuring method by using raw data shall be implemented in accordance with current national measurement of sound insulation standard.
1.0.4 The evaluation of sound insulation shall comply with not only this Standard, but also meet the requirements of other relevant current national standard and specifications.
