This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, packaging, marking, storage, transport and safety warnings in connection with pure argon and high purity argon.
This standard is applicable to gaseous and liquid pure argon and high purity argon extracted by cryogenic treatment from air or synthetic ammonia tail gas, as well as pure argon and high purity argon obtained through purification.
