General graphical signs for household and similar electrical appliances
1 Scope
This document defines the terminology, classification and symbols of general graphical signs for household and similar electrical appliances and specifies the general and design requirements for graphical signs.
This document applies to the design, manufacture, sale and inspection of household and similar electrical appliances.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
graphical sign
symbol mainly characterized by graph and transferring information without depending on language
Note: In household appliances, graphic signs usually appear in the main body, the nameplate and the instructions of the appliance to give a safety warning or indicate the function of the appliance.

3.2
safe sign
a sign used to express specific safety information
3.3
function sign
a sign used to guide people to perform operations such as starting, stopping, adjusting, setting, etc. on an appliance or a function of an appliance
3.4
information sign
a sign used to indicate a certain working state of an appliance or to indicate a certain position
4 Classification
Graphical signs can be classified into:

——Information sign.
