General requirements of operating licenses extension assessment for nuclear power plants
1 Scope
This document specifies the assessment process, determination of safety demonstration benchmarks, overall assessment for nuclear power plants, time-limited aging analysis, environmental impact assessment, safety improvement and commitment, supplement and modification of the final safety analysis report, preparation of application documents for operating license extension, renewal of safety benchmarks for extended operation and other requirements for the validity period extension of operating licenses for nuclear power plants.
This document is applicable to the assessment activities for the validity period extension of operating licenses for nuclear power plants [hereinafter referred to as "the operating license extension (OLE)"], and may serve as a reference for other nuclear facilities.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 41717-2022 and the following apply.
3.1
ageing management review
review of the resource allocation, scoping, object screening, ageing mechanism analysis and ageing effect identification, monitoring and detection, assessment and mitigation, etc. of ageing management
3.2
time-limited ageing analysis
for the set operating period of units, analysis and calculation of whether the time-related ageing of the structures, systems and components, which are determined according to the established screening principles, will affect their ability to perform preset functions at the end of the assessment period
