GB/T 41899-2022 General quality requirements for coated tinplate and ECCS used in food container
1 Scope
This document specifies the quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of coated tinplate and ECCS used in food containers.
This document is applicable to tinplate or ECCS coated with coatings cured into films at high temperature, and used for manufacturing food containers.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5206-2015 and the following apply.
3.1
intro-plate coating thickness deviation
range of coating film thickness of the entire coated tinplate (or ECCS)
3.2
tin melting
phenomenon of the color difference of tin metal after the melting of the tin layer of a steel sheet
3.3
burnt
phenomenon of coating film gelatinization caused by high temperature
3.4
wax incorporation
phenomenon of wax precipitation on the surface of the coating film
3.5
spot
phenomenon where the coating film is uneven and spotted
3.6
flaking
phenomenon where the coating film cracks or peels off and separates from the substrate
3.7
sticky plate
phenomenon of bonding together in the process of coating and printing
3.8
dirt
material other than coatings stuck to the coating film
3.9
dust contaminated
phenomenon where the coated tinplate or ECCS is contaminated by dust
3.10
edge effect
phenomenon where there is coating accumulation on the coating film of the plate's upper edge
3.11
curtain; runs; sags
phenomenon where there is coating accumulation on the coating film of the vertical plate
3.12
missing coat
phenomenon where the coating film on the steel sheet is incomplete
