1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of remanufactured automatic transmission; requirements for disassembly, classification, cleaning, inspection, testing, restoration, assembly and performance; and test methods, test regulations, labeling and packaging.
This standard is applicable to the remanufacturing of automatic transmission (AT), dual clutch transmission (DCT) and continuously variable transmission (CVT), and it may also apply to other automatic transmissions of motor vehicles.
This standard is not applicable to the remanufacturing of automated mechanical transmission (AMT) for automobile purpose.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions given in GB/T 26989 and QC/T 1077 and the following apply.
3.1
remanufactured automotive components
products remanufactured from used automotive components after remanufacturing processes, which are basically renewed in the same technical performance and quality as the originals
4 Disassembly
4.1 The disassembly shall meet the requirements of GB/T 28675.
4.2 The whole transmission may be disassembled into chamber, oil pump, clutch, brake, one-way clutch, synchronizer, speed change mechanism, shaft, final reduction drive and differential, valve body, control unit, bearing, auxiliary parts, etc.
5 Classification and cleaning
5.1 Classification
5.1.1 The classification shall meet the requirements of GB/T 28676.
5.1.2 The following parts shall be updated:
a) sealing gasket;
b) sealing ring;
c) oil ring;
d) oil seal;
e) plastic gasket;
f) rubber plug for pressure and storage;
g) filter screen;
h) paper and rubber gasket in valve body;
i) colloid ball valve;
j) rubber piston;
k) inhaul cable;
l) vacuum control valve.
5.1.3 The following components which are judged as defectless after inspection may be used directly:
a) support;
b) gear lever;
c) external fastening bolts;
d) fixing bracket.
5.2 Cleaning
5.2.1 The cleaning shall meet the requirements of GB/T 28677.
5.2.2 Parts and electronic components with friction materials shall not be cleaned by media containing water or corrosive components.
5.2.3 The parts shall be subjected to precise filtration before cleaning.
5.2.4 The cleaned parts shall be dried with compressed air, and the cleanliness shall meet the technical requirements of remanufactured product drawings.
