Footwear — Test methods for whole shoe — Pull-out force of upper bands
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for pull-out force of upper bands of whole shoes.
This standard is applicable to the whole shoes.
2 Normative References
The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 16825.1-2008 Verification of static uniaxial testing machines - Part 1: Tension/compression testing machines - Verification and calibration of the force-measuring system
GB/T 22049-2019 Footwear - Standard Atmospheres for Conditioning and Testing of Footwear and Components for Footwear
3 Principle
Use a tensile testing machine that continuously records the tension to determine the maximum tension value when the upper band is pulled out of the sole, that is, pull-out force of upper band.
4 Apparatus
4.1 Tensile testing machine
4.1.1 The tensile testing machine shall be in accordance with GB/T 16825.1-2008, Level 2, with an indicating device to record the maximum tension value, and the measuring range shall not less than 350 N.
4.1.2 The holder shall be composed of the upper clamp for clamping the upper band and the lower clamp for clamping the sole. The width of upper clamp clips shall not less than 25.0 mm, as shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1 Schematic diagram of holder
4.2 Vernier caliper
It shall be accurate to 0.02 mm.
4.3 Cutting and shearing tools
They shall ensure that the edges of cutting sample are neat.
5 Sampling and conditioning
5.1 Number of samples
Each group of samples shall not be less than one pair of finished shoes.
