1 Scope
This part in GB/T 3780 specifies test methods for iodine adsorption number of rubber grade carbon black and acetylene black.
This Part is applicable to every kind of rubber grade carbon black (S series, aerating and natural gas channel black excluded) and acetylene carbon black.
Note: The iodine adsorption number will be influenced by surface porosity and volatility as well as the presence of extraction.
