1 Scope
This document specifies the designation, contour and dimensions of 5° tapered (drop-centre) rims primarily intended for passenger cars.
This document is applicable to the passenger car rims.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2933 apply.
4 Dimensions and codes of rim contour
The dimensions and codes of rim contour are shown in Figure 1.
Key:
A — specified rim width;
B — flange width;
C — location and dimension of flange radius;
D — specified rim diameter;
DF — diameter of bead seat flat hump;
DR — diameter of bead seat round hump;
F1, F2 — position and dimension of the valve hole in the rim;
G — flange height;
H — well depth;
L — well width;
M — well position and dimension;
P — bead seat width;
R1: flange joint radius;
R2: flange radius;
R3: bead seat arc radius;
R4: well top arc radius;
R5: well bottom arc radius;
R6: flange edge fillet radius;
R7: well side arc radius.
V — dimension of valve hole or well;
α — well bottom angle;
β — bead seat angle.
Note 1: Dimensions marked with * are related to the mounting and dismounting of tyre on the rim, and they are the minimum contour and position dimensions of the well.
