1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, product classification, raw and auxiliary materials, technical requirements, production process control, inspection methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, sales and recalls of ice cream.
This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of stereotypes prepackaged ice cream and not to the soft cream products which are sold when they are made.
