Cooperative intelligent transportation systems—Dedicated short range communications—Part 1: General technical requirement English
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 31024 specifies the object communication relationship of cooperative intelligent transportation system (ITS), and the reference architecture, the main intelligent transportation system services, technical requirements, equipment requirements, security requirements and time management of dedicated short range communication (DSRC).
This part is applicable to the design, development, operation and maintenance of the application of DSRC subsystem in cooperative ITS, and is the basis for developing the technical realization standard, quality evaluation standard and engineering standard of DSRC application in cooperative ITS.
2 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
2.1
cooperative ITS
intelligent transportation system which realizes intelligent cooperation between vehicles and infrastructures, vehicles and vehicles, vehicles and people through information interaction among people, vehicles and roads
2.2
dedicated short range communication
wireless communication mode with limited communication distance between vehicles and vehicles, vehicles and infrastructures, infrastructures and infrastructures, which is specially used for road environment and is one of the basic communication modes in the field of intelligent transportation system
2.3
on board unit
functional entity installed on the vehicle with information collection, processing, storage, input and output interfaces and a dedicated short range wireless communication module
2.4
road side unit
functional entity installed on both sides of the road or on a gantry structure to receive information from and send information to the OBU through dedicated short range wireless communication
2.5
physical layer
layer that establishes, maintains, and releases the physical connections of the data transmission path of the dedicated short range communication network, which is located at the bottom of the protocol stack
2.6
media access control layer
layer that provides the control mode of short range communication network node addressing and accessing shared communication media, which is located above the physical layer
2.7
network layer
layer that realizes network topology control, data routing, data transmission of equipment and communication service means of application, which is located above the media access control layer
2.8
application layer
layer that provides users with various applications and service means, which is located above the network layer
2.9
safety emergency
non periodic and sudden event occurring on the road that will affect traffic or public safety, which is sudden, destructive and unpredictable
