1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determination of heavy metals in food detergents.
This standard is applicable to the determination of heavy metals (by Pb) in both food detergents and non-food detergents.

GB/T 6682 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods
3 Principle
Under weakly acidic conditions (pH=3~4), conduct the limit test by comparing the specimen in which the heavy metal ions react with hydrogen sulfide to generate a brownish-black substance with the lead (Pb) standard solution treated with the same method.
4 Reagents
Unless otherwise stated, only recognized analytically pure reagents and Grade III water as specified in GB/T 6682 shall be used in the analysis.
4.1 Hydrochloric acid.
4.2 Hydrochloric acid, c(HCl)=6mol/L: Measure 50mL hydrochloric acid and dilute it with water to 100mL.
