GB/T 29631-2025 Flexible and torsion resistant cables of rated voltages up to and including 1.8/3kV for wind turbine
1 Scope
This document specifies the product code, marking, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods and packaging, etc. of flexible and torsion resistant cables of rated voltages up to and including 1.8/3kV for wind turbine used at the connection between turbine and tower in wind power generation equipment or similar occasions.
This document is applicable to flexible and torsion resistant cables for wind power generation systems or similar systems with rated voltage U0/U of 1.8/3kV and below.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.10 and the following apply.
3.1
rated voltage
reference voltage for cable design, service and electrical performance test
3.2
batch
products of the same model and specification ordered at one time
Note: If there are products of different models and specifications in one order, different models and specifications will be regarded as different batches.
3.3
routine test
R
tests made by the manufacturer on each manufactured length of cable to check that each length meets the specified requirements
3.4
sample tests
S
tests made by the manufacturer on samples of completed cable or components taken from a completed cable, at a specified frequency, so as to verify that the finished product meets the specified requirements
3.5
type tests
T
tests made before supplying, on a general commercial basis, a type of cable covered by this document, in order to demonstrate satisfactory performance characteristics to meet the intended application
Note: These tests are of such a nature that, after they have been made, they need not be repeated, unless changes are made in the cable materials, design or manufacturing process which might change the cable characteristics.
4 Service characteristics
4.1 Rated voltage
The rated voltages U0/U of the cables in this document are marked as: 450/750 V, 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV.
U0 represents the voltage r.m.s. between any main insulated conductor and the "ground" (metallic shield, metallic sheath or surrounding medium); U represents the voltage r.m.s. between any two-phase conductors of multicore cable or single-core cable.
