1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for, as well as packaging, marking, transportation and storage, and quality certificate of rare earth carbonate of ion-absorpted type rare earth ore
This standard is applicable to rare earth carbonate of ion-absorpted type rare earth ore, which is mainly used as raw material for grouping rare earths or separating single rare earth compounds.

3 Requirements
3.1 Chemical composition
The product designation and chemical composition shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1. In case that the purchaser has any special requirement, it may be determined upon negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
