1 Scope
This standard specifies the testing method of persistent foaming for pesticides.
This standard is applicable to pesticide products that need to be diluted with water before application.

3 Test methods
3.1 Method summary
The specified amount of sample is mixed with standard hard water, and the foam volume is recorded after standing.
3.2 Reagents and solutions
Water: Grade 3 water;
Magnesium oxide: Dry at 105°C for at least 2h before use;
Calcium carbonate: Dry at 105°C for at least 2h before use;
Acid solution: c(HCl)=0.1 mol/L, prepared according to the requirements of GB/T 601;
Acid solution: c(HCl)=1.0 mol/L, prepared according to the requirements of GB/T 601;
Sodium hydroxide solution c(NaOH)=0.1 mol/L, prepared according to GB 601;
