This standard replaces GB/T 26686-2011 General specification for digital terrestrial television receiver. In addition to editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 26686-2011:

——In relation to RF demodulation and channel decoding requirements, “working mode 8”, “working mode 9” and “working mode 10” (see 5.2.3) are added;
——In relation to RF demodulation and channel decoding requirements, "suppression of two-path echo" (see 5.2.16), "suppression of three-path echo" (see 5.2.17), "suppression 1 of channel disturbance under fixed receiving conditions" (see 5.2.18), "suppression 2 of channel disturbance under fixed receiving conditions" (see 5.2.19), "suppression of single frequency interference" (see 5.2.20) and "other multi-path model" (see 5.2.21) are added;
——In relation to basic requirements for video decoding, the requirement (see Edition 2011, 5.5.1.1.1) "the receiver shall decode the code streams with the frame frequency of 25Hz and the aspect ratio of 4:3 and 16:9 as specified in GB/T 17975.2-2000 or GB/T 20090.2-2006” is deleted; "the receiver shall decode code streams with frame frequency of 25Hz and the aspect ratio of 4:3 and 16:9 as specified in GB/T 20090.16 and shall comply with SJ/T 11594.1-2016" and "the receiver may normally decode the video code streams specified in other mainstream video coding standards” are added (see 5.5.1.1.1);
——In relation to The basic requirements for audio decoding, the requirement (see Edition 2011, 5.5.2.1) "the receiver shall have the function of decoding digital audio streams complying with MPEG-1 Layer II of GB/T 17975.3-2002 or GB/T 22726-2008, and may have the function of decoding digital audio streams complying with ETSI TS 102 366 or other digital audio streams” is deleted; "the receiver shall decode digital audio streams complying with GB/T 22726 and shall comply with the requirements of SJ/T 11594.2-2016” and "the receiver may normally decode the audio streams as specified in other mainstream audio encoding standards.” are added (see 5.5.2.1);

General specification for digital terrestrial television receiver
1 Scope
This standard specifies the functional and performance requirements, measurement methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of digital terrestrial television receiver (hereinafter referred to as receiver) supporting terrestrial digital television reception as specified in GB 20600-2006.
This standard is applicable to digital terrestrial television receivers with the size greater than 66cm (26in), and may be used as reference for receivers with the size equal to and less than 66cm (26in); it is also the main basis for product design, production finalization and inspection.

4 General requirements
4.1 Normal service conditions
Normal service conditions shall meet the following requirements:
Ambient temperature: 5~35℃;
Relative humidity: 25%~80%;
Atmospheric pressure: 86~106kPa;
Power supply: 220V , 50×(1±2%)Hz.
4.2 Graphical symbols for equipment
Graphic symbols shall comply with the relevant requirements of GB/T 5465.2.
Graphic symbols not defined in GB/T 5465.2 are specified in relevant product standard.
4.3 Appearance and structural requirements
Receivers shall have tidy appearance, and their surfaces shall be free from such defects as concave and convex marks, scratch, crack, burr and mould stain, and the surface coating or plating shall be free from blistering, cracking or shedding, etc.
Metal parts shall be free from corrosion and other mechanical damages, and the infilled stuff shall not overflow.
Operation of switches, keys and knobs shall be flexible and reliable, and the parts and components shall be fastened without looseness. The complete machine shall have sufficient mechanical stability.
The text stating the functions and the markings of graphical symbols shall be correct, legible, upright and firm, and the indication shall be correct.
