This national standard is applicable to compare the cement's corrosion resistance in the sulfate-contained environmental water or the man-made sulfate solution.
This national standard adopts 1:2:5 cavity sand and 10x10x60 mm prismatic specimen. After being extruded and formed, it will be treated with 1-day cabinet curing, 7-day water curing (50℃), and 28-day ambient-temperature erosion. The particle size of the standard sand ranges from 0.25mm to 0.65mm.
This national standard, based on the ratio of the cement mortar specimen’s flexural strength in the erosion solution and that in the identically-timed fresh water (soaking time: 28 days), calculates the corrosion resistance coefficient and subsequently compares the cement’s corrosion resistance.
