For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Optical radiation
The electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths between the transition region to X ray (λ≈1 nm) and that to radio wave (λ≈1mm)is short for optical radiation.
3.2
Visible radiation
The optical radiation which can directly cause a visual sensation. Generally, its wavelength range is limited between 380 nm ~780 nm.
3.3
Infrared radiation
