GB/T 23677-2017 Light conveyor belts
1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, storage and handling of cutting light conveyor belts.
This standard is applicable to light conveyor belts (hereinafter referred to as "light belts" or "belts") for portable conveyors in textile, light industry, food, electronics and other industries; this standard is not applicable to light belts that are in direct contact with food.

3 Product classification
3.1 Structural type
The light belt skeleton material is composed of cotton, nylon, polyester and other fabrics. The core may be with or without a cover, and the types of covers are classified into rubber type (including rubber-plastic type) and plastic type.
3.2 Specification
3.2.1 Full-thickness tensile strength specification
The longitudinal full-thickness tensile strength specification series of the belt are shown in Table 5, and arranged according to the R10 series of preferred numbers.
3.2.2 Total thickness specification
The total thickness specifications of the light belts are shown in Table 1.
Table 1 Total thickness specification
In: mm
Total thickness 0.5 0.8 1.0 1.3 1.6 2.0 2.5 3.0
4.0 5.0 5.6 6.3 8.0
Note: The specifications beyond the R10 series in the table may be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation.
3.2.3 Specification designation
The composition and arrangement of the light belt specification designation are as follows:
a) longitudinal full-thickness tensile strength specification, N/mm;
b) letter Q denoting the light belt;
c) letter R denoting the rubber cover (letter P denoting the plastic cover);
d) belt nominal width, mm;
e) material and number of layers of the skeleton layer, in which the yarn designation code shall be as specified in GB/T 32457;
f) inner circumference of the endless belt, m.
