This standard specifies the methods for testing textiles' puncturing strength in which a sharp pointed ejector rob is used. There are three types of ejector rob, one may select one type as required.
This standard is applicable to woven fabric, knitted fabric, non-woven and various composite materials.
This standard is not applicable to mesh fabric, macroporous fabric and elastic fabric.
