This document is drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 Guidelines for Standardization - Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents.
This document replaces GB/T 18828-2013 Diving Table. Compared with GB/T 18828-2013, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The "scope" has been changed, and the "naming" chapter of the 2013 edition has been revised and incorporated (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 of the 2013 edition);
B Changed "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of 2013 edition);
c) The chapters "Requirements" and "Test Methods" in the 2013 edition are merged into the same chapter "Requirements and Test Methods", and the chapter "Practical Significance" in the 2013 edition is modified and incorporated (see Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 in the 2013 edition);
d) "General" is added to "Requirements and Test Methods", including "temperature", "visual inspection", "product configuration under test", "practical significance", "diving time indicator" and "type inspection and 100% full inspection", in which "visual inspection", "practical significance" "Diving time indicator" and "type inspection and 100% full inspection" are included after relevant contents of 2013 edition are modified (see Chapter 5, 6.1, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 of 2013 edition);
e) The requirements and test methods for "visibility" have been changed (see 4.2, 6.2 of 2016 version);
F Requirements and test methods for "antimagnetic performance" have been changed (see 4.3, 6.3 of 2013 edition);
g) "Temperature cycling and" salt spray test (attached table) "(see 4.4 and 4.5) are added in" Requirements and Test Methods ";
h) The requirements and test methods of "shockproof performance" have been changed (see 4.6 and 4.8 in 6.4 of 2013 version);
i) Requirements and test methods for "salt water resistance" are deleted (see 6.5 and 7.3.3 of 2013 edition);
j) The "requirements and test methods" include "functional devices in shallow water", "waterproofness of handle and other setting devices when applying force", "functional devices under excess water pressure" and "waterproofness under excess water pressure". Some of the contents are included after the relevant contents of 2013 edition are modified (see 4.7 6.6, 6.7.2, 6.10, 7.3.4, 7.3.6 and 7.3.7>of 2013 edition);
k) The requirements and test methods of "external force resistance of accessories" have been changed (see 6.7.1 and 7.3.1 of 4.9 2013 version);
l) ) The requirements and test methods of "thermal shock resistance" are deleted (see 6.8 and 7.3.5>of 2013 edition);
m) Changed "condensation test" (see 4.10, 7.3.8 of 2013 edition);
n) Changed "marking" (see Chapter 5, Chapter 8 of 2013 edition);
o) Added "Use and Maintenance Recommendations" (see Chapter 6 and Appendix D);
p) Normative appendixes "Saturated Diving Table" are added, including "General", "Requirements and Tests for Operation under Helium Overpressure (Type Inspection)" and "Marking", which are modified by relevant contents of 2013 edition (see Appendix A, 6.11 and Appendix A of 2013 edition);
q) The informative appendix "Air tightness under overpressure" is added, which is modified by the relevant contents of 2013 edition (see Appendix B, 6.9 and 7.3.2 of 2013 edition);
r) The informative appendix "Diving Chart" is added (see Appendix C). This document is equivalent to ISO 6425; 2018 Watch Diving Watch.

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test methods for diving tables and saturated diving tables for deep water diving.
This document is applicable to diving tables capable of withstanding diving at a depth of at least 100 m and equipped with a protective measurement system to indicate the diving time visible in the dark.
In addition, this document indicates the markings used by the licensed manufacturers.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Scuba diving
A method of underwater diving in which divers breathe underwater using a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba).

Saturation diving
Diving technology to reduce the risk of decompression sickness when divers work in deep water for a long time.
Note: In saturation diving, divers live in a pressurized environment corresponding to the diving depth, which can be a hyperbaric chamber. This diving can be maintained for several weeks, with only one decompression to surface pressure at the end of the diver's mission. By limiting the number of times of decompression in this way, the risk of decompression sickness can be greatly reduced.

A watch designed to withstand scuba diving.

4 Requirements and test methods
4.1 General
4.1.1 Temperature
Unless otherwise specified, the test in water or air shall be conducted at (23 ± 5) ℃.
4.1.2 Visual inspection
The visual inspection shall not be conducted under the magnifying instrument.
4.1.3 Configuration of tested products
Unless otherwise specified, the test is only conducted on the meter head. The test shall be carried out on the finished meter due to technical resistance or when the strap cannot be removed from the meter head.
