1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, specification, code, technical requirements and quality evaluation, test methods, inspection rules as well as packaging, marking, transportation and storage of geocomposites made of geononwoven and geomembrance.
This standard is applicable to geocomposites made of geononwoven and geomembrance, taking geononwoven as base material, and polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and the like as membrane material.

3 Product Classification, Specification and Code
3.1 Product classification
Geocomposites made of geononwoven and geomembrance may be classified according to the following methods:
——According to base material: synthetic staple fibers needlepunched geocomposites made of geononwoven and geomembrance and synthetic filament spunbond and needlepunched geocomposites made of geononwoven and geomembrance;
——According to membrane material: composite geomembranes made of polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), etc.;
——According to structure: composite geomembranes of one fabric and one membrane, two fabrics and one membrane, one fabric and two membranes, two fabrics and two membranes, multiple fabrics and multiple membranes, etc.
