Footwear - Test methods for whole shoe - Dynamic waterproofness
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method of the dynamic waterproofness of whole shoes.
This standard is applicable to the testing of the dynamic waterproofness of various types of whole shoes.
This standard is not applicable to whole shoes with shoe size less than 230.

3 Principle
The whole shoe is mounted on the whole shoe dynamic waterproofness testing machine with a certain depth of water in the water tank to contact with the shoe, the testing machine pushes the half sole of the shoe to bend to simulate the walking state at a certain angle and frequency for testing, and measure the bending times or time required for water to penetrate into the shoe from the outside.
4 Test equipment and materials
4.1 Testing machine for whole shoe dynamic waterproofness (See Figure 1)
4.1.1 The movable plate of the testing machine is used to push the half sole of the shoe to bend and simulate walking. The swing frequency is 60 ~ 65 times/min, and the maximum bending angle is adjustable.
4.1.2 The water storage depth of the water tank of testing machine is greater than 70mm.
4.1.3 The counting device of the testing machine is used to display the bending times.
4.1.4 The water permeability signal device of the testing machine is used to measure whether the shoes are permeable, and can send out a water permeability signal or stop the machine automatically. The contact length between the probe and the sample is not less than 3cm.

4.2 Simulated foot (See Figure 2)
4.2.1 The simulated foot shall be able to cooperate with the testing machine to push the half sole of the shoe for simulated walking test.
4.2.2 The simulated foot shall be able to wear shoes with shoe size not less than 230 and the shoes are fixed on the platform of the testing machine.

5 Sample and conditioning
5.1 The sample shall be the whole shoe after processing for 48h.
