1 Subject content and applicable scope
This standard specifies the quality inspection requirements, inspection methods and pre-plating inspection requirements for Cd-Ti plating of low hydrogen embrittlement of high strength steel parts.
This standard is applicable to the quality inspection before and after application of Cd-Ti plating of low hydrogen embrittlement of high strength steel parts.

3.1 high strength steel
steel with tensile strength greater than or equal to 1,240MPa (127kgf/mm2) after heat treatment in this standard
3.2 main surface
specified surface of parts before and after plating, on which, the plating plays a major role in the appearance and service performance of parts
3.3 minimum local thickness
minimum local thickness measured on the main surface
